1. Introduction
The Collective Space (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Members App (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy and our Terms of Service.
 

2. Information We Collect
We adhere to Google Play’s User Data requirements by being transparent about all data we collect through the App, and limiting use to purposes disclosed here 
 

  • Personal and Sensitive User Data
    We may collect personally identifiable information (e.g., name, email address, postal address) and sensitive device or usage data (e.g., device identifiers, location data, health-related information) strictly to enable App features you request 
     

  • Usage and Analytics Data
    Information about your interactions with the App (e.g., pages viewed, features used) to help us improve performance and usability 

  • Permissions-Gated Data
    When you grant runtime permissions (e.g., microphone, camera), we access only the data needed to support the specific feature you activate
     

3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for these purposes, consistent with what a reasonable user would expect and as disclosed at collection:
 

  • To operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of the App.

  • To personalize your experience and deliver content tailored to your interests.

  • To communicate with you, including sending updates, security alerts, and support messages.

  • To analyze usage trends and improve the App’s performance and reliability 
     

4. How We Share Your Information
We will never sell your personal or sensitive user data to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
 

  • Service Providers: With trusted vendors who perform services (e.g., hosting, analytics) under contract to help us operate the App and comply with legal obligations 

  • Legal Requirements: When required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena), or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
     

5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including transmitting sensitive data over HTTPS and storing information on secure servers, to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your data 
 

6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the App’s features and comply with our legal obligations. When you request deletion of your account, we will promptly remove your data from our systems, except where retention is required for legitimate purposes (e.g., fraud prevention or legal compliance) 
 

7. Account Deletion

If you create an account within the App, you can delete it at any time:

  • In-App: A “Delete Account” option is available under Settings.

  • Outside the App: Email privacy@collectivespace.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.”

We will confirm deletion and remove associated data, except for data we must retain for legal or security reasons
 

8. Children’s Privacy


Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will promptly:

  • Delete the information from our systems,

  • Terminate any associated user account, and

  • Notify the requester that the data has been removed.

If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at info@collectivespace.com with “Children’s Privacy” in the subject line, and we will take swift action to address the issue.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy


We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, applicable laws, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and post the new version here. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about our collection, use, and sharing of your information
